Here are a few table runners I’ve made lately. I have discovered I like making table runners as they are quick to make and useful and make nice gifts. The red and blue one above is the most recent and is, in fact, a gift already delivered. Also, they are forgiving of quilter error since they are so small. The inevitable inaccuracies that creep in during cutting and sewing don’t add up to disaster as quickly when there are only three 12-inch blocks and 2 borders. Perhaps instead of “quick to make” I should have said, “quick to piece.” Nothing is quick to make when I decide it has to be HAND quilted:
